[Master Company Settings](https://www.staffwizard.com/en/staffwizard-knowledge-base/staffwizard-articles?hsLang=en#master-company-settings) # How to Add/Edit the Skills that the Employees can have attached under the Employee´s Profile When setting up an employee profile, you can select a special skill for the employee which will be under the section of their general information, below "Position/Title". ![](https://www.staffwizard.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/26824011288215.png) If the skill you want to add is not populated on the list, follow the instructions in this article.  **To add a new skill:**  - Go to **"Master Company Settings"**, then under the tab **"Master Controls"** scroll down on the list of sections that is on the left-hand side of the screen and click the section **"Skills"**. ![](https://www.staffwizard.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/26824011292055.png) - You will see a list of default skills configured for your instance, locate the button **\[+Add New\]** and click it.  ![](https://www.staffwizard.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/26824024600983.png) - Add a short name that describes the skill and a photo(if needed). Once all it´s set as expected, click the button **"Add". ![](https://www.staffwizard.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/26824011296407.png)** - You will see the new skill added to the list on the page. Besides, you can change if the status of the skill is enabled or disabled.
