# Gross Profit Report

**The Gross Profit Report** can be found under the **Payroll** tab near the bottom of the page. This report calculates your gross profit by taking the billable hours and any billable items linked to posts, then subtracting the payable hours and their associated gross pay.

Please note: This report does **not** account for employer liabilities such as taxes or other costs incurred from running payroll.

This report can include data from one or multiple regions, specific branches within those regions, and individual clients within those branches, all filtered by a selected start and end date.

 

**Important note:** Hours are calculated based on the **start date of the shift**. For example, if a shift runs from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, the hours will be attributed to the date the shift **began**, not when it ended.

The report can be generated in either **PDF** or **CSV** format, depending on your preference.
