# Create a Temporary Password for an Employee

To manually create a temporary password for an employee,  navigate to the '**Employees**' module and click on "**All Employees**".

Double-click on the employee's first name to select them. Once in their profile, navigate to the '**General**' tab and click the **\[Pencil\]** icon to edit their **'General Information.**'

Scroll down and find the '**Change Password**' section. Toggle it on, then enter the employee's new password. Once done, click the blue **\[Update\]** button to save the changes. You can now share the new temporary password with the employee.
